THE STORY BEGINS...
DICK’S Sporting Goods was founded in 1948 when an 18 year-old Dick Stack was working at an Army surplus store in Binghamton, New York. An avid fisherman, Dick was approached by the store owner to come up with a list of products needed to get into the fishing tackle business. After Dick presented his suggestions, the owner told him he was a dumb kid and had no idea what he was doing. Dick was upset and promptly quit. He went to his grandmother’s house where he spent a lot of time as a kid and told her what had happened.
Dick’s grandmother asked how much it would cost to build the store himself. Dick said it would cost $300. His grandmother then went to the cookie jar where she kept her life savings and gave him $300 and told him “do it yourself.” Dick used that money and his relentless work-ethic to open a bait-and-tackle shop in Binghamton. By the late 1970's, he expanded his product line to include much of what you’ll find at DICK’S Sporting Goods today.

Grill 603 is serving up great meals featuring the freshest ingredients put together in our scratch kitchen.
Everything at Grill 603 is scratch. We make all of our own dressing, sauces, and desserts. All of our proteins come in fresh from the best vendors. Since we make everything in house it gives us a great deal of control over the consistency and allows us to control our costs. That benefits the guest by letting us give you a great value. The staff has been trained to say yes until it hurts. We accommodate guests special requests, allergies, and whims as often as possible. We have a limited menu, but all of the major proteins are accounted for. We also have vegetarian offerings, and are a gluten friendly restaurant. In fact, we have a dedicated gluten free fryer that we only use for French fries. A lot of French fries these days are sprayed with gluten to make them hold longer. We use a special fry that is of the highest quality to allow this special offering.

How We Began
Terry Connor, a New Hampshire native, founded the Pasta Loft Restaurant in Milford N.H. more than 20 years ago It started as a 160-seat restaurant and has grown to a 500-seat restaurant with a rooftop deck.
Terry is nostalgic by nature and bringing the old Latchis Theater back to life was his mission. His father use to bring his dates to this movie theater.
“Everything starts with a vision,” he recalls. “I drove up here to the Milford oval 22 years ago and sat at the Milford diner and had breakfast and watched the cars drive around the oval for two hours. That was my vision to bring cheer to a community that was wide open for opportunity.”
